Screw machining
A particular application field of the
R200 K - FS 110 is the machining of plastic screws used as conveyors in the bottling sector.
The component is fixed by means of a NC-rotating support and is machined by interpolation of both rotating and linear axes.
In this way, it is possible to obtain cylindrical or conic screws, with fixed or variable pitch, without geometrical limits.
Software solutions for screw machining
Routech has developed a software for automatic definition of the screw geometry, based on relevant parameters:
- Profile of bottle
- Profile of tool
This software represents the rendering of the screw in order to identify possible imperfections, make the necessary corrections and to elaborate the part program.
